Stratocumulus stratiformis clouds can be found in the lower levels, at or below 8,000 feet. These clouds appear in waves or rolls, instead of puffy clouds. They can also appear dark and heavy and may have a few gaps in the sky to allow in some sunlight. These clouds are typically seen on warm and humid days.
