On this mostly cloudy day, a big altostratus field is setting the tone. In the distance some rain is falling from the altostratus clouds. Altostratus clouds are middle height clouds, they form at about 3.000m (10.000ft) high. In the left, there are some underdeveloped cumulus clouds.
